Through 32 years of construction experience, John Premo has gained knowledge of roofing, waterproofing, sheet metal and other construction-related materials and processes literally "from the ground up." He possesses a working knowledge of nearly all phases of the construction industry.

During his tenure as a roofing and waterproofing consultant, John has conducted investigative roofing, waterproofing and sheet metal analyses for litigation support, specification development and cost analysis. In addition, John has designed roofing and waterproofing systems and provided project management services such as Pre-Bid and Pre-Job Conferences, Quality Assurance Observations and Final Inspections.

As a construction defect expert, John has been involved in numerous litigation investigations related to roofing and waterproofing issues and has provided expert witness testimony in mediations, depositions and at trial.

John has worked as the Southern California Technical Representative for a major roof tile manufacturer. He was responsible for providing customers with technical information with regard to installation procedures for standard and lightweight roof tiles. He was also responsible for product-related customer complaint investigations and problem resolution.

During a two-year stint with a local roofing company, John held the title of Head Estimator and served as the supervisor for the estimating department. His duties consisted of the bidding and procurement of large-scale residential and commercial roofing projects.

John has been an attending member of the International Conference of Building Officials (ICBO) and the Committee for Fire Safe Roofing (CFSR). He is currently a member of the National Roofing Contractor's Association (NRCA), the International Conference of Building Officials (ICBO). and the Roof Consultant's Institute (RCI).
